  1. Last time I saw a bunch of women all breatfeeding at once was in the Congo. Traditionally that is the last directive the pastor gives before he starts to preach - "Pesa mabele" - Give the breast. In other words keep the kids quiet! Actually, anywhere you turn in that part of Africa you are likely to see someone feeding a child - a normal part of life.



    I wonder for this event how they get the kids all to become hungry at 11 am? On cue now....
