Bon Voyage?

So, as the process has moved ahead it seems Johanna has been offered a position as an Au Pair, in the northwest part of Switzerland.

Nanny for two little girls, in a small town in the Swiss mountains, a few minutes from France.

Of course she has had to rub off the shine of it a bit so she can really see all that it will be, with open eyes.

But still, like I said the other day, my kids sure are living large.

(The home is the top flat in this building)

  2. Maybe she can send you a care package for a change once she is living the high life.

  3. That's great. Switzerland is an interesting place, and *relatively* clean and safe. The question is, will she be able to live somewhere flat after being surrounded by mountains?

  4. Hey, if you really don't want her to go, she could come and look after MY kids for a week this summer... That would certainly put a damper on what her daily life will be over there!!! (BUt like I said, it'll be great birth control for her!!!)

I am still extremely jealous... of the location at least.

  6. Wow..what an awesome opportunity for your daughter! I'm sure that the experiences and memories that she'll gain there will shape her life forever. Maybe she'll meet some hottie over there and get married and live there forever! Then, you'd have an excuse to go to Switzerland often and visit..and you'd always have a place to stay. Of course, that would also be sad to have her live that far away.

  7. Oh pere!!! You will miss her....and so will all of us here back on the flats. Living large is very good and I'm praying God will walk with her through her adventures.
