It's enough of an incentive to never want to buy any vehicle from them.

ReplyDeleteFWIW when I was in Texas I was being driven round by a guy there in a 4 week old SUV (which he managed to bend on my penultimate day). I described to both him and some of the other guys I met there that I drive a 1.4l diesel car with faded red paintwork and a lopsided front bumper (Fender make guitars ;-). The MD here has a small peugeot based on the same running gear that's done 130,000 miles and is just one year younger. We don't wash our cars often, partly because it's like pushing water uphill, and partly in case they would fall apart.
