Hey, all the cool moms are doin it

Well, Wendy's been doing it for a long time, and Christy's been doin it for nearly a year. In March Lauralea started, and May saw Dixie and Debbie begin on about the same day.

All these Mom's are entering the blogging world.

Now, this is a very good thing. They have amazing voices and have something to teach us about life.

Just interesting what's going on in the heart of God these days that he's getting mom's to tell us stories of the secrets of life.

Stay tuned, this is gonna be big.

  2. Don't tell Marc, but I do believe you've got an apostrophe error! ;)

  3. ah-HAH! I can hear you, Becky!

Randall and correct apostrophe use don't mix. I give up.

  4. Actually, I put in an apostrophe, then I took it out, then I put it in, then in total confusion, i took it out, dreading the wrath of my "friends."

My conclusion? Love me as I am baby!

Toni; I thought about adding Linea's name because she is a mom more than ever!! But the thing that's caught my attention is the stayhome mom's who are starting to blog. They are an often overlooked bunch and I'm glad to see they are writing.

Often it's wrongly assumed that they will write only about diapers and rashes and the like. Wrong. These ladies have things to say and I'm looking forward to it all.

    Bring it on Mom's (Moms?)

  5. Ah, I'm just teasing, Randall. I hope the quotation marks you (correctly) placed around "friends" were just a threat and not actually meant.

Truce (I don't want to give you an ulcer)? I do love you, poor punctuation usage and all.

    (It's "Moms", by the way.)

  6. I sort of figured out what you meant by not listing me as a mom and I am not that offended. But you must admit that all moms work and that some of us just work at other stuff too - like Wendy by the way. Maybe it is the sane ones that decide not to work out of the home. I will admit that! Some of us have to get away from our kids and husbands lest we lose our minds completely - so we get jobs. :-)

Actually, if I had to rank the difficulty of all the things I do, I would rank being a mother as most time consumming and difficult, even harder than pulling teeth. Not sure whether being a wife ranks as more time consuming and difficult than pulling teeth - sometimes. But it has better perks!

  7. I love that you just used the pulling teeth cliche. I've never heard anyone use it literally before.

  8. Linea,

I think this blogging thing helps me leave the home in a way. See things from a different perspective. To feel the encouragement from and possibly to moms from around the world.

  9. Not that SAHM's don't work, but I believe Wendy is a workin' Mom too.

And I can't promise the secrets of life on my blog...the only possible benefit someone might get from reading my blog is insight into how to acquire skills to negotiate with terrorists.

    I appreciate the plug, Randall!

  10. Just noticed Linea had already figured that out...now I'm just being repetative (repetative...repetative).
