when i was at universal studios in march (with your child) we saw some of the sets for the movie....a plan crash and a torn up neighbourhood...pretty freaky.
We've not been to see it. There were trailers for that plus the new Batman movie when we saw starwars recently. Everything looked just the same - panic, buildings crumbling, lots of big explosions and people getting hurt. We don't really need that right now, so I was happy to give it a miss.
Maybe when the DVDs are down to ?5.99 we'll have a look.
My favorite (and only) daughter and I went. At one point in the movie I took stock of my surroundings and myself and found my jaw was almost on the floor. I looked down the isle and most folks looked the same as I. The creators did some pretty fancy stuff. I liked it.

ReplyDeleteYeah, that was one reason I wanted to see it. Hillary had pictures she had taken from the plane crash scene.
ReplyDeleteWas it THAT scary?

Can't possibly be as scary as the original radio show must have been. We know this is just Hollywood.
ReplyDeleteI thought it was pretty good. Worth the $14 we paid for it. Do you have CAA? They now offer movie discounts.
