I have walked Spadina Cres. downtown Saskatoon during my lunch break, with a hot coffee in my hand...listened to the sound of people skating on the ice beside the Bessborough...the giant snowflakes falling and thought "this is a perfect moment". I hope you have found your "perfect moment of peace" today!
In the heart of the city, eh? Which city?
ReplyDeleteI don't really care, as long as i can sit outside drinking a hot drink and watch people go by!
ReplyDeleteHey, you can do that on Central.
ReplyDeleteIn the winter?

ReplyDeleteI think Donna nailed it.
Doing that on Central, well it just wouldn't have the same effect!!
Randall, Randall, Randall, where is your sense of adventure man?
ReplyDeleteI would like to spend some time with that giant cup of coffee in that persons hand.
ReplyDeletePersonally I'd rather escape the downtown of Prince Albert for the solitude of a northern Saskatchewan trapline.
ReplyDeleteHowever the downtowns of big cities, especially European cities, can be fun to visit. I just wouldn't want to live there.
