It is about 70% alcohol. You may have to ask for it in a pharmacy but you look reputable. Just make sure you buy something else at the same time and don't go back to the same supplier every day. :)
Well, at Zellers, when I worked there, they locked it up in a back room because people would steal it so often. IT was still available, you just had to ask the cashier, and if you don't smell like alcohol, we would tell you we had some in back (if you stank we'd say we were out) and just call a manager to get some.
Mmmm...another one....if someone smells like alcohol, you can't sell them hair spray either.
Dixie's pretty sure that her mom bought it at WalMart.
And now that I think about it, last time I checked at Shopper's Drug Mart (not sure which one of the two in town here) they had lots of it on the shelf.
Is that heaven's nectar through its papal blessing? I once worked with a wine buff who waxed lyrical over Chateauneuf du Pape
;-)
I thought you might be amused about a little discovery I made today. I can log into Hertz car rental site as though I live in Canada or the UK. Price of a Ford Taurus 4 door:
$219 CAD
?231 Sterling.
There are just over $2 CAD to the pound. I'll leave you to do the arithmatic.
I think I might accidentally happen to live in Canada when it becomes time to book a car.
Could it be that a lot of stores have stopped carrying Listerine because of its popularity with substance abusers?

ReplyDeleteI think you are both right.
sadly.
I just got some Listerine locally last week.

ReplyDeleteThat explains your fresh, germ free breath!
Where'd you hook up?
Dunno. By "got some" I meant my mother-in-law picked some up for me. I'll ask her where she got it.
ReplyDeleteRandall, give me a call and I'll help you find a an LA group. Lots of people are successful in breaking free of that stuff.

I'll trade you my half bottle of Listerine for one of your bottles of Chateauneuf du Pape.

ReplyDeleteHmm, a half bottle of "Eternal Fire Burning in my Mouth" or a whole bottle of "Sweet Heaven's nectar."
Sorry dude, its all gone away.
""Sweet Heaven's nectar." "

ReplyDeleteCheck with me before you book it. We've been talking about letting you use our small car.
I do believe the air conditioning works!!
Course, if that number shakes down enough, it might be worth the luxury.
Anyhoo, le'me know.
Chateauneuf du Pape is nice, but I prefer gargling with a Cabernet Sauvignon/Shiraz blend.
