On Halloween. Should we, or shouldn't we?

Ok, so rather than post the whole piece over here, I published it on the church website.

  1. Great post by that guy. I'm glad you linked to his article. Seems a pretty healthy take on Halloween. I like the idea of mocking the evil one.



    Now if there was some way to get the spammers off the church site. Seems Blogger has a major problem with spam comments.

  2. I think things are a lot more meaningless than many people assume. That is to say, many things don't have any meaning other than face value, except what we apply to them. When people start saying this or that is evil, many times they are the ones applying "evilness" to it. Besides, to the devil, why would our man-made calendar and its arbitrary months and days have any significance?

  3. I've often wondered about Halloween. I was told, by who I thought was a reliable source (a pastor), that Halloween was indeed a Pagan or Wiccan day. Maybe I understood him incorrectly. Great article though. I do believe I will make a page of it for my site too. :)
