    Nothing personal, but I'm glad not to live very close to you right now. And BTW our central heating circulation pump has seized over the summer, and won't re-start, so I'll have to replace it. As it is, I'm wearing a nice warm fleece so I can type without shivering.

    Marc - what's the wind chill at 90 mph?



    My jacket has a gap at the neck that lets the cold air in - you get this feeling of spreading chill, like a water leak, that creeps across your chest.

    It offers a wind chill calculation. A couple of minutes with a spreadsheet and it suggested I survived the equivalent of 30 mins between -17'C and -72'C.



    Maybe I could cope with a sask winter after all?

    I think those are dome Dutch things.



    I don't know what they do, probably keep out water or something like that, but it souunds Dutch to me.
