And a reason to celebrate, even if she chooses another direction. Being accepted is big over here.
And hey, because she has good marks, they are offering her a $500 scholarship.
A head that can hold data, and hard work have paid off.
Way to go girl. You deserve it.
Cool!! Good for her. I'd recommend a BA in Philosophy, but I've heard the philosophy dept. at the U of S is not the greatest... Did she happen to get into the U of R, too? 'Cause there are some fine philosophers down there!
ReplyDeleteI personally am a UofS alumni....such good times! If she does end up going there, I can give you a connection to some of my "friends" there...apparently there's a good group there now!! :) Is that vague enough?? But I think you catch my drift!!!

ReplyDeleteOh and CBC emailed and said they "pre-maturely" excepted me. But I got a letter saying I was "officially" accepted. But it's all good now.
Speaking of CBC. Hillary is breaking tradition of not going to CBC. What's up with that?
