This afternoon, Lauralea, Micah, and I headed downtown for the annual Prince Albert Street Fair. I took the camera, so you can see some of the fun and rain of the day.
I see you managed to make it to the Bison to sit out the rain. I still have yet to set foot in that establishment!
We were at the street fair from about 12 to 2 and had a good time, except for having to walk all the way to 2nd & 15th to get to the pony rides! I think I may have preferred rain (though not that much rain) to the sweltering heat that made me lightheaded.
It was nice to see so many familiar faces down there. Even hugged some people from the old church! In one of your pictures is a lady that used to work at BNS when I'd go there with my dad for deposits before I was in school. He'd sit me up on the counter all proud of his little girl and I'd watch that lady and I was fascinated with the pink/red sponge she used to wet her fingers. Funny how I still remember her face!
P.S. I love the pictures of the people running panicked out of the rain. It makes me laugh.
That picture does not actually look like PA at all. It is really cool.
