Christopher Lake

Just got home from an evening at the lake. We were visiting some friends from church.

The season is definitely changing. They sky is getting darker much earlier in the evening. And the evenings are getting cooler, cool enough for a jacket.

And at the lake the bears are out, looking for some pre-winter meals.

Was a good visit, on a perfectly clear night.

  1. So, you're telling me you saw bears at Christopher Lake? The lake where we go and hike the Kinasao ski trails every fall -- our favourite place to hike. The place where now hungry bears would be glad to fill their bellies with a family of four?! This is not good.

  2. No, I'm not telling you we saw bears there, because we didn't, this time.

But the locals warned us that this was under way, and to be careful. Thats all.

And you don't have to be a fast runner to outrun the bears. You only need to be faster than Marc.

  3. Not a chance. I can run like the wind!

(But the question is, would I? I think not.)
