Update

For those of you praying for and asking about that young man I met a couple of Sunday evenings ago, who was in the accident...

I received word today that he passed away last night.

I stopped looking for the answers to some of the "Why" questions of life a long time ago. Sometimes life doesn't make sense, and surely it isn't fair.

My hope is that at the end of it, Somebody will even the scales, and help me understand things.

I'm just glad I'm not alone in finding my way through this life.

Please pray for his family now.

  1. I live in the town where this young man grew up, and knew him fairly well. He was kind, funny, compassionate, smart, and a great asset to our town. At least 750 people were at his funeral service; this is a true testament to how such a young person touched the lives of so many others in the short 20 years that he lived. He never missed a single opportunity to make a difference in the lives of others. I try to find comfort in the fact that he lived a life that had such an impact on those he knew, despite how short it ended up being. We will always remember him for being incredibly full of love for life itself, his family and his friends. In the end, what better epitaph could anyone ask for?

TRW: WE WILL ALWAYS MISS YOU.
