Thanks for the heads-up. It was being reported on the BBC yesterday evening, but was a 'minor' story that suggested it was isolated and not city-wide. They linked to some of those pics too, I think.
Update - it's all over the papers here this morning.
It looks like although there was an election, the results was already in place, and Ahmedinajad already had plans to clamp down hard. This does not look good.
