-38C when I left the house this morning.
The hinges on the house door creak. The snow crunches. The vehicles groan, whine and complain, that is if you get them started.
Exposed skin freezes in less than 1-8 minutes, depending on the wind.
Schools are closed, buses not running. Nobody is on the highway. You only go out if you need to and only you are the judge of that.
This is what -38 looks like, Terribly beautiful and deadly.
