I shall find myself in Calgary this weekend for some meetings.
This will be hard work, so i'm looking for a distraction, (No, not Calaway park, i barf on rides).
if you live in or near Calgary and would like to hang out a bit, gime a sign, here.
hmm, i notice there is a Krispy Kreme in Calgary. Hmmm
Hey, we'll be in Calgary this weekend too! My sister wants to see a glacier and polar bears (I didn't have the heart to explain to her about prairie climates). :)
ReplyDeleteI probably won't see you as your visitors will already be acustomed to having Krispy Kreme at a location near them.
ReplyDeleteBut have a good weekend, and good luck with that Polar Bear thing.
Actually, it dawns on me that the place I saw a polar bear tear a bird's head from it's body and eat it whole WAS in Calgary. Get thee to the Zoo
heeeeey when--OH YEAH. You're going to Calgary.
ReplyDeleteBring me back some doughnuts okay?
They are the awesomest things ever.
Get outta town! Becky, we might see you at the zoo! (We'll probably be there on Monday!)
ReplyDeleteSo, nearly all of Sask. is going to Calgary for the weekend?
ReplyDeleteLinea and I will be making the treck too - doing some labyrinth things/talking to God things. Would a Krispy Kreme break be sacrilegious? Just wondering.....
ReplyDeleteWhat if we feel God leading us to the closest Krispy Kreme? Then we would have to go wouldn't we? And don't all good things come from God?
ReplyDeleteHow's that for rationalization?
I do believe Jesus would hang out at a Krispy Kreme, to be with the regular people. (donut lovers!)
ReplyDeleteHey, he might even use his finger to write some things in the keylime filling!!!
Can we leave now?
ReplyDeletePrince Albert Blogfest 2K5 (non-bloggers welcome)! Krispy Kreme, Calgary!
ReplyDeleteSaturday night. I'll be there.
ReplyDeleteBlast. I won't be there yet. Well, party on, the rest of you!
